How do I put my Olympus underwater camera on black and white?

It's yellow and it's shockproof and underwater and i only figured out how to put a picture as black and white after i take the picture. I wanna know how to do it when I take the picture. ? please and thank you:]

1. I don't know if you can, but if you already know how to do it after the picture is taken then you should be fine. Sorry I couldn't be of more help :(
2. For the best black and white quality, wait until you get home and use your photo program to desaturate the image and then use the levels tool to tune-up the image. Converting a RGB file into a black and white image provides about three times the quality you can expect by using the "monochrome" setting on any camera, whether is is a $250 P&S or $8,000 DSLR. Making more controlled adjustments on your computer will provide you with both an excellent colour images and an amazing black and white one too ... as long as you remember to save the adjusted image to a new file name.
