Underwater Camera Housings

Best underwater digital camera?

Hi ,I am looking to buy a digital camera( with video shooting features as well) mainly to be used for underwater photography during snorkeling ,diving etc.Can you recommend which one should we go for? Also,someone told me to buy a normal camera and just get an underwater casing for it-which option is better do you think? We are going for a trip of a lifetime and I would want my pictures to be great-not fuzzy and the video sounds not muffled.Any help much appreciated -thanks in advance :)

3. we always use a disposable one like a fuji . works real well, but no sound sorry. usually about $10 USD have fun on that special holiday girley...
